6/1/13 at FirstEnergy Park
For the first time of the season, I headed to FirstEnergy Park to watch the Lakewood Blueclaws take on the visiting West Virginia Power.
As normal, the left field gate was open hours before first pitch so I walked into the stadium.
The Power were throwing down the left field line.
Orlando Castro flipped me up my first South Atlantic League baseball of 2013.
After that, I headed out to the left field berm ready for the start of BP.
And minutes later, Delvi Francisco gave me my second ball of the game.
And I got a homerun in left center.
And then, I got two foul balls in the left field play area.
After that, I got 12 more baseballs, making it 17 for the day. I’m not going to bore you with all of those pictures so here is a screenshot that shows how I got all of the balls and two collages consisting of pictures of the last 12 balls I got.
For dinner, I had a quesadilla from Surf Taco in right field.
I went down the right field line hoping to get a baseball from the Blueclaws warming up.
While I didn’t get any other baseballs, Jordan Guth and Jeb Stefan signed autographs for me.
The Blueclaws hold a Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese race every night.
This was my view for the first 5 innings or so.
Then, I moved over here.
Finally, I settled over here.
The Power won the game, 8-1.

Yes.
Nice job.
Thanks.
What time does the left field gate open?
I have no clue. I’ve always just walked in whenever. I’ve only been there twice, but both times, there were tons of employees and no one cared
Ok thanks
